I teach 7th graders with learning disabilities. I am looking for a behavioral plan to keep one student on task. I’m not sure how to go about setting up a program that will work. It is difficult finding out what motivates this child.

There are also sites with guides to Functional Behavioral Analysis- they are on my work computer. You might try teachers.net chatboards- there is a board for SPED where some knowledgeable people post as well as a more management oriented board. Some on one of them should be able to point you in the right direction.
