I have used both the first and second edition of the Reading Pen. The Reading Pen II is much faster and appears to be more forgiving for those who do not have the best dexterity. The students who have benefited with the Reading Pen II encompass a broad range of disabilities, including LD, ADD, dyslexia, to name a few.

I would also like to mention that the Reading Pen goes beyond being just a reading tool. With the extensive history of scanned words it becomes quite a handy tool for scanning and reviewing vocabulary words.
