Hi eveyone
I’m looking for a personal database software program that I first learned about through LD on line. Now I can’t seem to find it. It organized all sortes of data, including notes, and presented the information in various ways. It was supposed to help people who can’t seem to keep their notes and data in a organized manner. I was hoping that it would be appropriate for the workplace as well as the classroom. If anyone can give me some software names I would apppreciate it.

what is Studytool? I tried doing and internet search for it and didn’t turn up anything. Do you have the URL?

The program that I’m thinking of is more for entering day-to-day notes, phone numbers, dates, contact information etc. The program then allowes you to present and surch for the information you entered in various ways. There used to be a link to the software maker under technology resources on LDonline and after surching the sight again, I still can’t find the link.

I found the program that I was looking for. The type of program is called a PIM or Personal Information Manager. I believe the program that I once found through LDOnLine is called “Info Select.” I’m going to give the demo a try and see if it helps me organize my notes and various information. It may be appropriate for some LD students who need organization help. I’m not a LD professional so I don’t really know. I think it may help me in organizing my life in the workplace and my possible return to school. Thanks for your comments.

Are you talking about the Studytool? Try their website. Also the CAST website has a lot of info on computer technology. Go to their products (teaching tools) for descriptions. Good luck.
