If your a teacher then it is. Math basics are the roots to learning more complicated math and so on. Let me explain i’m 19 yrs old i have what people call a Processing Problem or Auditory Sequencing. I’m been just doing research on the comp to learn more about myself i guess. I don’t know who posted a post about making posters, but i feel that is a great idea. I’m a visual learner so that really helps. My Difficultys i struggle with include: Money, Addition to a small degree and telling time. I have also heard of a system called “The Nines System” how would i go about learning this or have any of you adults, i assume heard of such a thing? Thank You,

I suggested making posters, and thank you.

I have seen a lot of tricks using nines, and in general I strongly dis-recommend them.
Quick tricks and shortcuts in math learning work about as well as going into a strange city and taking shortcuts in the real world — generally many times as long, almost always get you lost, and can lead to disaster in the wrong neighbourhood.

Use your visual skills, which is what *good* math learners always use, understand the meaning of what you are doing, and take your time getting the foundations solid. Remember the tortoise and the hare; slow but steady wins.
