Depends!

LIke looking for a college for anyhbody. Lots of things to think about.

As Sue said, it depends.

Depends on ones’ LD. Depends on your strenghts. Depends on what you want to study. Depends on where in the country you want to be. Depends on if you like urban vs. small town settings.

I’ve hear that smaller colleges and U’s tend to be more flexible. I don’t know about that though. I’d think it depends more on the school culture.

i think that if you can find a liberal school, then that is good. some schools that are liberal give you quite a bit of lee way with things, like you might not have to do that research paper a certain way, you might be able to make an oral presentation or what have you. there are liberal schools in big city settings and liberal schools in smaller cites also. i also think that a really great thing is to try and figure out a way to go to a small community college in a small area of a city. like i went to miami dade community college in homestead florida (ages ago) they were small and really liberal and it really laid a good foundation for the studies i do now at the university of memphis. but regardless of where your sat scores take you, you learn your rights and make damn sure that you go to a school that understands what an ld is and all of that.

My Fiance and I both have ADD and ADHD and I do not know how to Deal with it anymore !!! :?:

Hallowell’s Driven To Distraction has ssome good strategies — I find some help more than others; some just don’t fit, but lots of ideas that address the real bunbites that come up that other people always seem to have simpler solutions for.
