I need some help in labeling apraxia as a specific type of LD (attention, oral and receptive language…). If there are any suggestions I would so appreciate them! Thanks

I think apraxia would be considered a speech language disorder, not a learning disability. However, the child in question is qualified for services under IDEA and also probably for modifications if necessary. Depending on the severity of the apraxia, the child would be eligible for speech and language therapy or even a self-contained speech/language program.
Unless the child has learning disabilities (like in reading, etc), I don’t know why you’d wnat a ld classification anyway. In that case, you’d need a diagnosis that could be approved by the school district or done by it. I think though that’s an answer better left to someone else.
