For those of you who have used Earobics

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I’m wondering what changes (if any) you have seen in your children after about 20 hours of using Earobics. It seems that all of the sudden my son is hearing me the first time I tell him something and that he is remembering to do things (such as bring in the garbage cans before dinner) that I used to have to remind him about over and over. He also seems more content and organized. Could these changes be due to Earobics?

I heard testimonials like that after using Fast ForWord, which has a somewhat similar approach (tho’ very different design). It does make sense, though — he’s learning to attend to the details of speech sounds!

Take a look at this link about research that has used Earobics:

I’ve been waiting to do FFW this summer, yet have Earobics here at home and haven’t used it (we tried it once and my son had a difficult time with it…which, of course should indicate he NEEDS it!!!).

After looking at this research (and by the way, it’s the same program used in the current article posted on this site -see hompage- by Nina Kraus and published in April 2005 Trends in Neurosciences), I’m thinking I should just go ahead and have him do Earobics. How dumb am I to wait for FFW!!!?
