Thrombophilia, MMR and autism

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Was curious if anyone with kids who have language issues have had anyone in family diagnosed with any type of thrombophilia(a blood clotting disorder)? I came across this post on my thrombophila list. I have a form of thrombophilia and I have a child who is not autistic but has an expressive language deficit that is sort of like mild aphasia. Several other folks on that board also had children who have some kind of language issue.

MMR, blood clotting and autism
>
A major US study found evidence of thrombophilia (a tendency towards blood clotting) in 70% of children where autism developed shortly after an MMR jab. In people with thrombophilia the blood supply to the brain is lower: apossible cause of autism. Furthermore, 70% of the children with
thrombophilia came from families with a histories of the disease. This
suggests that the children may have been genetically more susceptible to
damage from the MMR jab.

Might you have the citation for this study? I seem to have missed it, and would like to add it to the mountain of paperwork I have collected over the last 7 years.

I believe this was the source at the bottom of the post(I don’t know how legit this is - it was just something on another web site).
