I’m teaching a Graduate course and want to show people the website that includes SAT vocabulary for high school students where one side is the word and the other side is a memorable graphic and the definition. I think I saw it here on the board but I can’t find the link despite googling several different words. It was a free program from what I remember.
Does anyone know what I’m talking about? Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Re: SAT Vocabulary with Graphics
Sue,
Thanks - that’s it and I found it. It’s not free as I thought but still worth a look.
Re: SAT Vocabulary with Graphics
Here’s a book I actually like a lot that uses similar strategies (has math *and* verbal)
http://www.mostlybrightideas.com/
http://www.picturevocabulary.com/ might be it
I remember a book (or at least one such book) but it’s at home - it was cute and funny and effective. (It wasn’t the one they’re talking about above.)
