Getting ppl to understand LD is hard

Hi.
1) I work at a university. My original problem was Dysgraphia.
Good luck with Japanese! Can’t you apply to the LD program at your
university?

2) Have you been tested for LD? How do you know for sure?
Whatever disablility, try this: take meeting notes ( abbrevviate ) and
outline the topics in the conversation. Make sure you have
a separate page ( in between your lecture notes pages ) to record
when major projects are due. Always label the top of the
notebook page with the Course Number; Professors Name; and
the date of the lecture. VERY IMPORTANT!!!
Instead of “doodling / cartooning”, take notes of the conversation.
for the calander, go to “http://www.timeanddate.com” and print
out a calendar of the current year (adjust it to “printer-friendly view” ) .
Then, you’ll have the whole calendar on one sheet of paper
(ask for help, if you need to ) .

You could consider something called Non Verbal learning disorder, which I just wrote a post to someone else about.
Essentially it is a difficulty with comprehension.
Where information needs to be provided in a logical order to be understood.
This non verbal deficit, is often accompanied by an exceptional Verbal skill.
In the ‘gifted’ category.
It can be accompanied by a visual-spatial mental imaging problem, where reading a clock is difficult. As with the abstract reasoning associated with maths.

Thankyou for the reply and I have taken a look at the site and it might be NLD. All this time, I thought it was just LD and didnt know that that existed. No offense to anyone else out there, but thanx for replying.
