I have Inspiration...now what do I do?

I recently purchased Inspiration for our daughter, 14. (She is also currently using Draft:Builder.)

I don’t know what to do with the Inspiration exactly. I feel so stupid…but is there a teacher’s guide or something? Some online practice activities somewhere?

Inspiration may possibly be redundant since you have Draft:Builder. Why did you buy it? Is your daughter currently using Draft:Builder? How does she like that program?

I think that Inspiration is an excellent teaching tool on many levels. Is she currently on an IEP? If so, ask the learning center teacher to help her learn that program. Who taught her how to use Draft:Builder?

(The Help menu offers great support - have you looked at that?)

I like the training CD that you can get for using Inspiration. It was very helpful in learning what the program could do. They also have a great newsletter that has tons of ideas. Also look at the Homework Guide for some online videos with ideas for using Inspiration. Explore their web site as there is a lot of information on it.

Personally, we used Inspiration for my son’s outlines. It has a great feature that allows you to switch between the graphical webbing and outline form. I know that we haven’t used it nearly as much as we could but its been nice to have. :)
