Organizing my modifications Help!

I am desperately seeking help. I have both inclusion and resource lesson plans to create/modify for 3 different grades and 9 different teachers. I don’t know how to keep everything organized. Should I buy 9 different binders and keep the modifications and worksheets in the binders by Teacher and in sections by weeks or what? I have no clue, the last teacher left abruptly and took everything with her. I feel pretty isolated and am overwhelmed right now.

Three-ring binders could work well ~ one for every teacher, especially for the inclusion kids. Go through them once every month and decide what you can get rid of, and what you want to save for your master file. For the resource kids, you can write your own lesson plans in notebooks or a plan book, whatever feels most comfortable. You could also use binders to keep track to what you have presented, but rather than 1 for each classroom teacher as in the inclusion kids, make 1 for each group of resource kids (chances are you’ll have kids from different teachers or even grades mixed together). I am just new at this so don’t laugh! Is it possible for you to sit down with each teacher (yeah I know, TIME) and look at their curriculum and then modify the lessons together. Or it might be possible for you to give them a list of modifications that work well for different learning disabilities. I don’t know your school and what the policies are but more and more schools are allowing the Sped teacher to give modification plans and ideas to the teachers so they can modify their curriculum since th are the ones most familiar with it. For your resource room students I would suggest folders for each but again, you still need to know what declarative knowledge the classroom teacher wants tm to learn. I have a folder for each student with a page of each students goals and objectives taped on to the inside of it, then I can see what modifications would actually aide in obtaining those goals and objectives. Bottom line, work together with the classroom teacher. Do not expect them to do it all and they should NOT EXPECT you to do it all either!
