Hello.
Not sure if this is the right thread so I apologize.
I have a learning disability, specifically dyscalculia. I was diagnosed 4 years ago by a psychologist in Dallas, Tx. I went to the psychologist as a result of having failed math since I was in grade school, but specifically in college it was holding me back. I have a 12 page report stating my disability, and as a result was finally awarded my associates degree since I passed all other courses with no problem.
My problem now ? I’m considering finishing my degree (online most likely)and my old counselor at my previous school told me I may have a big fight ahead with my next school even though I have all the documentation to prove I have a disability.
My question is, are there a list of colleges that are known to work well with dyscalculia students? Specifically I need a university that will give me an exemption in this area. As I said I have fought this my whole life and now I only want to go somewhere where I will have minimal or even better no problems with this.
Thanks for any help.
Hope this will be a starting place for you.
