now that im 36 years old i feel like ive lost out on a lot of oppertunities
because i could never go to vocational school to learn a trade
i wasnt qualified for a summer job
my mom felt i wasnt qualified for job corps so as a single mom of
3 it really plays a big part of my life
when the whole time i was just a confused child
for beeing melested by grandad uncles and several other family and
friends of my families but at least my dad was a dad not a melester
which i dont think he ever knew anything but ive always had this big
label on my forhead big dummy since i was 7 years old
but now im in controll of my own since im now to big for the toys
and i have it teribably rough now alone at it so dont just slap a tag on
your child sometimes it could be fear or confusion.
because i know i wouldve been good at what ever i did
and now i feel like the world labeled me as nonthing but im somebody

Re: missed out on job training career because of ld
Yes, Carolyn, you are someone important.
At 36 years of age, you have many many more years to do what you want, how you want.
I am so sorry you faced so many problems growing up.

Tough titty said the kitty when the milk went dry. Quit your whining Carolyn. I am sick to death of hearing you LDers whining and blaming everyone but yourselves. You better learn to deal with it sister.
BOO F’N HOO.
If you have LD you are nothing or you are of little value to this world. LIke the rest of you LD adults you are a malcontent and a malingerer.
God is obviously punishing you for something you or you parents did so take your punishment like a man.
Actually Carolyn I am trying to prove a point. We LDers are treated like dog crap. As extreme as the above sounds society has little undestanding or compassion for us.
My advice would be to tell people to go and F themselves.
