I am a 47yo female who was just diagnosed last year with ADD. While my Doctor agrees with the therapist diagnosis, she is extremely reluctant to prescribe any medication to help me since, in 2001 I had an angioplasty for a blocked artery. Does anyone know of any medications out there that do not present significant cardiovascular risk? Also, does anyone know of any ADD specialists in the St. Louis MO metropolitan area that can help me?
