oral temp. test for driving

Hello everyone,Does anyone know if you can be given the temp. test orally?My son will never be able to pass it in Jan. otherwise.Thanks

I don’t know. Have you contacted the Driver’s Testing place to ask? It seems like accomidations could be made….but we all know how long it takes to get accomidations in place. I’d start now for a Jan tests too.

I know that the Virginia DMV was reading the regular driver’s license written test at least as early as 1985. The teenagers taking them were on my voc rehab caseload (I covered 8 high schools) and were unable to read the study guide or the test questions due to Moderate to Severe MR.

As it turned out, they were good drivers. The major problem seemed to be things like detours that took them off their familiar routes.
