I would like some advice about flexible spending account (FSA) reimbursement for tutoring. My son is in remediation for dyslexia and we want to submit the bills to my wife’s company FSA. The tutor is asking me to provide some language that describes her professional service that would be appropriate for the FSA. The FSA is typically used for out of pocket medical expenses. I’m afraid if it sounds too much like simple “tutoring”, I will run into trouble. Perhaps a tutor or parent has done this before and could share the language they use on the bill for professional services?
Thank you,

Intensive intervention by a (dyslexia) specialist would be one phrase I’d be sure to include.
