WOW THAT IS AWESOME BUT WHERE ARE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!
I live in Simcoe County Canada. This is noth of Toronto the county I live in has Barrie Orilla and Alliston , to name a few of our communities. We at the L.D.A.S have been runing Adult Support Groups for over 2 years now with great sucess. In fact from this group we now have two groups one Adult Support Group1 is a support group for Adults with Learning Disabilities learn coping stratigies and the avialbility to get together with others with L.D . This group is a great support for all who attend. learn from others in helpling us in our day to day struggles but most importantly this has help develope some great friendship for our members. The other group that was an offshoot of this is the Adult Support Group 2 this group helps adults with Learning Disabilies learn about themselves and their disability as well as how to obtain and maintain meaniful self sustaining employment. This group is new to our organization and although just about 1 year in the process we have had what appears to be more success than failures, just goes to show ya once we figure it out there is no stopping us
Congradulations let us know how your group is proceeding
