I propose Your books exchange - I send You books in Russian (classical, modern - what Y wish) and You send me books in English or German in return.
If You like the idea, please write me. If You would like to have Russian books in exchange for books in other languages let me know.

Re: books exchange
I’m agree with victoria. I would love to send you books! If you like, feel free to e-mail me as well.
Another Victoria here, although on the bulletin board I am known as victoria without the capital letter.
Although I would be interested in learning more Russian, my present level is pretty basic and I could barely use a primary text.
However, I might be able to help you in other ways without exchanging. What kind of books are you looking for, and for what purpose? For your own reading, or for students? For beginners or advanced? Novels, factual, or texts?
Here, there are a number of garage sales and yard sales where people sell off their paperback collections for 25 or 50 cents each; there are also some large used book stores that sell paperback books for under a dollar. I can pick up paperbacks for less than coffee money — in fact, the major cost would be postage, not the books themselves.
Email me (double-click on my name above) Let me know what you are looking for, send your address, and be sure to save my email address and remind me again in a month or two when the weather gets better and there are more garage sales — I’m in Montreal and the climate is similar to Moscow.
Speaking of being in Montreal, I can also occasionally get cheap French books (unfortunately more expensive in general) — could you use these?
