Social Club and support group available now!

If you are an adult with learning disabilities or Attention Deficit Disorder living in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada there is a support group and social group for you.Island Adult Development Association (IADA) serves adults of all ages with LD and/or AD(H)D. We offer support groups and information services. In addition to this service, we will soon be offering an in-depth workshop on LD/AD(H)D including information on coping strategies, and services available to help you in the community.The “Friendship Club” is a social group for young adults (18-29 yrs). The social club meets roughly twice a month for fun and socialization. The group is primarly geared adults with LD and AD(H)D who have experienced social rejection or have trouble making and/or keeping friends.We are also holding our conference and AGM on March 29th where the TOLD Workshop Society will present “Try On Learning Disabilities”. This is an interactive workshop to find out what it is like to have LD/AD(H)D.
