The Shoshone Summer Program has 2-3 openings for students in their day program for dyslexic students. We will be
working
with a small group (20 students) of 9-16 yrs old dyslexic students(separate morning and afternoon sessions). Each student
receives a 1:1 Orton-Gillingham tutorial, a small
group writing class, and a study hall (to reinforce work done in the tutorial). Host families are available to house students from
outside of the area. In addition to the academic program we are offering an exciting activities program which includes
horseback
riding, rock climbing, hiking, fishing, field trips (including Yellowstone Park!), and traditional camp activities. The cost for this
program is $1,700 + costs of
room and board. The possibility of renting a cabin in the area (so that your son/daughter can attend) is also available.
Give your son/daughter the opportunity to improve his/her reading, spelling, and writing skills in a beautiful setting.
