I am a certified teacher in Fairfax County who will travel to your home to tutor your child. I have a master’s degree in learning disabilities and 8 years of teaching experience.
I am able to tutor students at all age levels in reading, spelling, writing, organizational/study skills, and content areas. The reading/spelling program that I have had the most success with is the Wilson Reading program (a phonetic based program). I also provide a writing program that gives the student a “formula” for writing. This comes in handy for the SOLs.
