Hi! I just found this board today and LOVE it!! We have our first meeting to discuss my son’s IEP. (We’ve been homeschooling and are sending him to public school next year). So I’ve been writing out my list of things that we would like to see implemented on his IEP (we have actually gone through the IEP process the year he would’ve started Kindergarten, but after a BIG mess up on the school’s part we decided to homeschool..long story..lol).
ANYWAY….
Graham is amazing at learning when it pertains to audio but mostly visual. He can watch something and have it sink in and he can retain the information, unlike if you just talk to him face to face. So I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried having a video taping of class impremented on your child’s IEP? I think if it’s possible that would be AMAZING for my son. I just don’t know if they’ll go for it. Our advocate is looking into it, but I thought I’d go ahead and ask in here.

I can see that as a big problem for the school because of privacy issues of the other students.
