Hi again,
tease through the below scores under terry that can give their opinions? I appreciate the input from Mary and Lisa but if I’m not being too pushy would love hear other opinions. Thanks in advance. I have three ld kids already, I feel a little overwhelmed, this tester has confused me.

Re: Any specialist that can......?
Janis,
I think you are correct about the Wilson not being intensive enough for him. Last year, he was employed in an intensive program with Wilson in school, and this year they are only using bits and pieces of that and other programs. I will look into that. Thank you so much.

Terry,
That’s a good idea. Even the best programs will not work well when used incorrectly or not intensively enough. Oh, and you are very welcome!

Terry,
I am not a specialist (I do have a master’s in special ed and a child with auditory processing problems). I just have a few observations. Did you say somewhere that your son is ADD-inattentive? Was he medicated when he took these tests?
The CELF-3 scores were so strong, I would doubt auditory processing problems. I would think that the ADD might cause some depression in some scores that might make someone think APD, but I doubt it from what I have read. I am wondering if he is getting Wilson intensively enough to remediate his poor phonemic awareness, etc.? You might need to try an outside Phono-graphix, Orton Gillingham, or Lindamood-Bell LiPS tutor for him to clear up the basic decoding problems.
