I live in Pa. and yes the temps here have been near 100 for the past 2 weeks. Jeremy eats, but just not as much as he used to. I guess I am just a very nervous mother here. Jeremy is my only child that took 21 years to have, believe me he is the love of my life. I have to say today is my first day being home with him while in Adderall, and it has been a real joy…NO fighting with his dad, NO running through the house, NO temper tantrums…I feel like I’m in another world here.

I am in South Jersey (Burlington County) so we are in the same boat heatwise. It is good that you are watching for any changes, just watch and see if his appetite increases after the heatwave ends (!) next week. You are not a nervous mother, you are being careful and doing what you need to do for your son.

You are wise to look for any changes in anything he does. The more observant you are, the more information you can pass on to his physician, and the more you can do for your son. The doc only has your information to go on, and the decisions are made from there. You wouldn’t be doing your job if you didn’t question any changes that take place.
