brainbuilder/Audioblox better suited to 3 wk intercession???

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

My son attends a modified yr round program and will have 3 wks off in April.

I would like to take that time to work on SOMETHING and have thought about both these programs

Memory is an issue-digit span also-he has had a lot of distinguishing sounds in words type remediation already.

I am asking more which would be better suited to an intensive 3 week session than I am which would be better for him-although Ill take that input as well

because it has a wide variety of exercises, so you can do it for a considerable length of time each day. I know of one mother who did it for five hours a day for three weeks or so, to “jumpstart” her son, and was very satisfied with the gains. This would not be easy and would take a lot of dedication!

You could do both Audiblox and BrainBuilder too. BrainBuilder alone would be deadly boring if you tried to do more than three ten-minute sessions per day.
