Is anyone familiar with the SCAN-3:C or SCAN- test for auditory processing disorders?
I want to understand more how the scoring works.
For each subtest, it says: Scaled Score (Mean=10+3) and proceeds to give her score for each subtest. I’m just trying to figure out the 10+3 mean- does that make the mean 13? So if she scored 2 on one of them, would that realy be a 2 with a mean of 13??
Then it gives me a composite score (51), and I’m trying to figure out how the composite score is ranked, or IOW what composite score would be average for her age.
I’m in a position where need to explain the testing, and I understand how the other tests work and are scored, but this one I don’t have much experience with. I just want to make sure I have my ducks in a row so I don’t look clueless if I’m given a question about this one.
Thanks!!
