collaspsing threads

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I liked it on the board when you could see who responded. If I didn’t want to read certain people’s post I just didn’t.

Perhaps I am doing something wrong. I am not a very goo computer person. Is there a way to see who answered posts without looking at everything?

Thanks

That’s a good idea. Or maybe an ignore feature—where you don’t see post by certain users.

I looked in the FAQ but couldn’t find answers, but then I’m not all that good with computers either.

I’ve gotten accustomed to looking over at the name before reading the post.
ONe huge advantage to this format is that more can fit on a page. The board is so active that something a couple of days old is gone forever when every single post is in the front.

I think the threads were part of the reason this board was so active. It is much harder to have “conversations” in this format. And some of the side conversations were the most interesting.

I wouldn’t even mind it if we had to click on the original post to see the threads.

I understand why we had to change but regret that threads went by the way side.

Agreed! Some of the best comments were those one-liners with “N/T”!
