Hi Laura,
I went on pace web site and the cost is high although, in some respects if it is the answer then it is worth it.I would have to choose option 3 which is the video instruction book and I guess the unit,I need to read it again, Do they give you the head set and is it a computer screen you use? I was wondering if that would work, Is the book and tape parent friendly?
My daughter hates homework and gives me a rough time, I can stick to my ground and explain it isn’t homework and it will help her.
Is it fun? it stated in the web site it isn’t math or reading it is more like a game. I would most likely be able to work with her 30 everyother day due to her homework taking so long to finish and after dinner activities I want to keep her into her fun activities to releave stress.

PACE is intense and you need to follow the schedule. It works well for some kids, those who do not have underlying sensory motor difficulties. My son did it at age 7, with minimal results, both due to his age and unrecognized sensory motor difficulties. Your child is better off being 10 or older, I think.
My son hated PACE and told me it was the worse thing I’d ever made him do. I suspect his reaction was extreme and reflected the fact it was hard for him but I wouldn’t expect it to be fun.
