I guess you all have heard about the controversial Dr. Phil show regarding ADHD. What do we expect from commercial TV? It’s all about money. Here are a couple good links to organizations that are coming out against the episode. I borrowed the links from millermom ADHD site:

I can’t stand Dr. Phil. I hate the idea of this guy exploiting people’s deep personal problems on national television in order to line his pockets—with no regard for what that exploitation does to those families after the show airs. I have a feeling that if this guy had a child of his own with ADHD he would be telling us all how “abusive” it is NOT to medicate these kids.
I know some parents choose not to medicate. I respect that. It is definitely a tough choice. It was for us. But I don’t consider Dr. Phil an expert, and therefore it is negligent of him to be advocating one way or another.
Sorry… I have disliked Dr. Phil since the first time I saw him on the tube.
