I know this is a dumb question, but since it’s an auditory program I’m concerned about my computer’s auditory capabilities. Should we be using headphones for this? If so, which ones? I know FFW requires specific headphones.
Thanks for any info!!!!
Re: Earobics question - for those who have used it
A lot depends on the quality of the speakers. My tenant plays music on the built-in speakers on his (very nice new) laptop and the tinny tone makes me grit my teeth. I couldn’t possibly do extended work with those, already have headache and stomachache. If you want to do an auditory program, it makes sense to get good-quality speakers or earphones.

Well I don’t know about headphones for Earobics—doubt it would be needed, but If you ever do want to get quality headphones I can’t say enough good things about Andrea Electronics. I got a microphone/speaker headset from them some years back. They gave fantastic customer service— even sent me a new headset, no questions asked not once but twice. In retrospect, I think I broke it by “driving over” it with the wheelie office chair I use. Didn’t charge me shipping or anything for all this.

Well, I’ll assume it’s okay. Right now I’m actually using SRS with my son and once inawhile the sounds seem a little off. I don’t think it’s the computer, but the program itself.
I only use headphones when there are other children in the room. As far as I know, there is no headphone requirement for Earobics. It is fine most of the time on the regular speakers.
