Does anyone know how to improve a students ability to function in a Executive Level mode …in the area of “Planning” which is often the survey of a task, formulation of a problem solution, self control in acting implusively and self monitoring/self awareness skills.
This area is also part of receptive/expressive language difficulties. Word problems and inferencing questions are a major problem we are trying to improve that are now part of a generalized comprehension weakness. This skill is really surfacing as a LD problem for kids in 3-6 grade. Thanks.
