FastForWord 2

Three years ago, when my daughter was in 4th grade, her school provided FastForWord for her. This past June, the school’s speech/lang person recommended FastForWord2. My daughter is now in 7th grade.

What is the current name for FastForWord2? I have an IEP meeting tomorrow and want to be sure of the name.

Go to their website, I believe they are called Scientific Learning, Corp. and read all about their half dozen or more programs. I found them by doing a Google search on Fast Forward.

I think you are refering to “Middle to Highschool” and after that is “Language to Learning”. My daughter finished them last month. She was able to finish Middle to Highschool in a couple of weeks and went right into Language to Learning which was included for the same price.

Middle to High School is another version of Language ( Fast ForWord 1). It is the same skills but has more mature graphics. My understanding is that you would not repeat Fast ForWord 1 regardless of the version. FastForWord 2 is Language to Learning and it is similar to one in the type of exercises, but now the child sees the written work accompanying the sound.
