My son is mixed handed. Some things he does left and others right. He writes right handed, plays hockey left handed. He also has his watch on his right hand. He has a hard time telling time on a non-digital watch.
I think you have to give your daughter simpel hints about left and right. Little tricks, but you probably have to get the coach to help you with it.

Good luck.

There are quite a few threads about mixed handedness. It is an interesting phenomena and extremely common amongst the LD/ADHD set.

You really have to automate left and right. It is essential for many cognitive as well as athletic pursuits.

My son is doing exercises for exactly this as part of vision therapy. Audiblox has a similar exercises that addresses it.

It involves looking at arrows that are pointed left right up and down. He has to scan each symbol and point his arms the direction of the arrows while saying left right up down etc. His vision therapist has him do this on a balance board.

Also, vision builder has one exercise that addresses this using the computer. I like the wall chart method better because there is more motor involvement.

Do they always pactice at the same field? Can you give her a visual-1st base is by the yellow dugout, 3rd by concession stand

Could she wear a ring(low key)on one hand and glance at that knowing it was Right.?

The home team usually sits by 3rd base BTW.

I agree you need to remediate the deficit at some point, but for the momeny try to find visual clues. Take her to the diamond and work with her alone on a Sunday(shouldnt be too busy monthers day :)) Move her to different places and give her different instructions

Good luck

Your vision therapy is really incorporating a lot of other therapies!!! We have done work on the balance board with Neuronet and the exact same exercise as you describe is a PACE exercise.

I totally agree on automating right and left.
