What tests should I look for for the school to do to check on learning disability for an 11th grade student?

Typically and LD eval for this age includes a measure of cognitive capacity like the Weschler Intelligence Scale (WISC) or the Woodcock Johnson. These are designed to provide an overall score and diagnostic information about possible processing deficits.

The second piece is generally to check achievement and that is generally done with the Woodcock Johnson Tests of Achievement-or something similar- there are several. With students this age - and depending on the issues- The Test of Written Language and/or something like the Gray Oral Reading Inventory might be given also- the reading and written language scores on the WJ-R or WJIII can provide a lot of excellent information but sometimes older kids are fairly competent at isolated tasks and have difficulty integrating them in connected performance.
