Are my posts regarding Ball being erased because someone thinks they are from Ball or just because they aren’t anti-Ball? Are all of Ball’s posts now automatically erased or is he welcome here if he behaves reasonably? I dislike spending board time debating these issues but I care about everyone here including Ball and hope we can resolve this issue in a caring way. I think having abusive posts erased is perfectly reasonable. My posts regarding Ball have not been abusive toward anyone and the fact that they have disappeared is feeling to me like censorship. This site is important to me and I wish that there were a way to go back to before this craziness.

I was told many boards work this way…
Supose ball posted under a new name. You responded to this post. Then ball used that new name in a nasty way on another forum. All of ball’s post under the new name would be deleted because he was banned. Your post would automatically be deleted as it wouldn’t make sense after ball’s post was deleted ie you would be responding to a post which no longer existed. That might explain why your post was deleted.
Or someone just thought ball was using your name. It is hard to tell.

It is interesting that the Ball supporters can’t remember any of the “abusive” posts but the Ball detractors do.

The moderator seems to be deleting the whole thread when the insulting posts corrupt it. I guess this is because it goes completely off topic and degenerates into useless arguments. I’ve lost a few long posts that I worked on this way too. Too bad, but better that than the board disintegrating. I’m sorry Rose, and you are really a giving person to want to try to help Ball. but he is intentionally trying to break up the board. It’s a power game, a bully’s game, and niceness doesn’t help it; in fact, being kind to him makes it worse because he sees you as an easy victim. If you read some of the posts before they get dropped I think you will understand.

I always wonder why do people have to go so low it is something I can’t understand, maybe I am to nice and I can’t be horriable to anyone and I know everyone has ther own veiws but to bad mouth people and use other peoples name is sick,

I liked ball too but he continues to cross the line. I’m pretty thick skinned but a post I found really offensive was just posted and then removed. E-mail me if you want details. I don’t use that language in public.
It sounds like the moderators warned ball but when he continued to post insulting things, they completely banned him. Completely, totally, under any name. It is also, in my opinion, not ok to post under other’s names. The stuff he wrote under Linda F’s name was just horrible.
So, for now, his IP is blocked. He can not post at all. However, he continues to post under others name. Because of his, every post is suspect. Sometimes he posts ok things on this forum under a new name supporting ball. Then he posts really bad stuff under that new name in another forum. Everything written under the new name gets erased which makes it seem like the moderators are heavy handed, but they are not. He also taunted us that he would post under “sleeper” names , ie seem really nice and caring, and then when bit others after he had earned our trust. I saw the post where he said he would do this. That is why we are starting to suspect each other.
It is very sad. I expected better from ball.
