keyboarding software recommendations

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I need advice on home software for my son to improve his keyboarding skills. He’s in 6th grade and is taking keyboarding as an elective but he needs more practice at home.

Any suggestions?

Type to Learn and Type for FUn are SUnburst software products and are pretty popular w/ kids (www.sunburst.com).
Diana KIng’s _Keyboarding SKills_ is a book that approaches keyboarding alphabetically that I like, but may not match what he’s doing at school.

if he only needs extra practice try letterchase at www.letterchase.com Its free for 30 day trial. With 10-15 minutes daily practice, in addition to class, it may be all he needs.
