I have a 9th grader who is currently taking Latin I and has had good success.
He is to be moved to a brand new school next year where Latin will not be offered. There are many reasons why this new school is not equipped to teach our son but our main argument must be Latin. I am looking for information and or data that supports our belief that Latin is helpful for the dyslexic student. He needs 2-3 years of foreign language to compete for the colleges he is interested in so dropping foreign language is not an option. Please write at your earliest convenience as we must appeal our case in the next week or two. Thank you!
