LiveInk - for Reading Comprehension

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I just though I would pass this along. LiveInk is a product that presents text in an more pleasing manner to both the eyes and the brain. If you go to the site there is a slide show presentation. I thought it was interesting and might be useful to kids with visual processing problems.

The LiveInk Reading Format
conveys visual cues
to sentence content
through a patented method
of formatting text
in the pleasing,
poetic-prose style
that you are reading
right now.

LiveInk format
is very easy
on the eyes,
because it
doesn’t force you
to track long lines
of horizontal text.

Instead,
your eyes float
down the screen,
absorbing sentences
that have been broken
down through
computerized
grammatical analysis
to improve the brain’s ability
to extract
meaning and build comprehension.
