Hi, everyone! Remember my previous posts about my children’s mystery novel? (It’s titled THE SPENCER GIRLS #1: THE MYSTERY OF THE DOLL IN THE WINDOW, and it features a 10-year-old dyslexic heroine, Michelle Spencer. As I did then, I’m posting the URL:
Wish I could include an actual link as I could in the past!)
Well, anyway, I wrote Book #2 of my mystery series quite some time ago. The only thing keeping me from authorizing Galifany Publishing to put it out on floppy disk is that I want to make absolutely sure it’s in publishable condition. That way, if ever I do find a regular publisher for my series, it’ll stand a better chance of being accepted. To that end, I feel the need to find a good free-lance editor to help me there. As the author, I have blind spots, and I need an objective 3rd eye to help me see past those spots.
Does anyone who frequents this board have any knowledge of this? (I realize this is not a writing forum, so possibly the answer is no; however, since it features a heroine with a learning disability and since you already know of my 1st novel, I’m hoping some of you could give me some suggestions.) Any ideas as to where I could go to find such an editor?
Thanks!
Yours truly,
Kathy G.
