My 9 YO (soon to be 10 YO) gifted son has many physical disabilities and uses a laptop at school, he also has Dysgraphia.
I have been told by private psychologist that my son does not need additional Educational evaluations as my son has already had these done and those reports are complete and through and there is no question, either by the school, us, or the psychologist that he is very gifted.
My son needs an AT evaluation to help us learn what programs and or software and or what ever is out there which can allow him to type his math on the laptop. He is able to do more than Algebra 1 already and has been “writing” programming codes on his laptop for the past few years. But as he is continuing to learn and WANTING to do more math, he needs to be able to do this on the laptop as his Dysgraphia prevents him from “hand writing” out his math. There are other areas where AT can assist my son as well; we just do not know what….
We live in Illinois but would be willing to travel if necessary.
Thanks in advance.
