My 9 year old son has just completed a number of tests to help determine if there were any reasons for behavior troubles. We have now found out that he has problems in the following areas:auditory processing, visual motor integration, visual perception skills, fine and gross motor, attention and concentration. Degree of deficiencies range from moderate to significant in all areas.
What I am wondering is if there is anyone out there who might have a child with similiar difficulties that can help shed some light on what is going on with him and the best ways to help him.
I would also be interested in finding a parent or teacher e-pal who might be in a similiar situation.
In the meantime, any words of advice or wisdom.
Thanks,
Charlene
