Interesting article. Only one of the roughly 700 10th-graders with disabilities who took an ”alternative assessment” in lieu of the MCAS exam last spring earned a passing score.
Portfolios were used; seems they were graded pretty tough! (And the one kiddo who passed was not identified… )
