PASSWORD>aadRYmgc7CHPc: Greetings Karen,: My daughter completed FFW 1& 2 Fall 1999 when she was 12yo. FFW
: was most definitely one of our best investments in my daughter’s
: life. It opened up a whole new world for her and gave us hope for
: her future. Prior to FFW, she would always ask “huh?” or
: “what?” after everything we said. It would take her up
: to 10 seconds to process verbal information. She was awash in a
: sea of noise that had no meaning. Morgan completed FFW at home
: using an online provider. Since FFW, she hears and understands us
: the first time we say something. She began playing word games such
: as Wheel of Fortune and Scrabble for the first time. Her sense of
: humor and comic timing improved dramatically and she was finally
: able to tell and understand jokes. Most importantly, her verbal
: expression improved which helped with peer relationships. What it
: didn’t do was improve her reading (she has visual processing
: disorder in addition to auditory processing disorder). She still
: has a poor auditory memory but it is better than what it was
: originally. She still starts and is distracted by sounds in which
: she is unable to see the cause of. Despite this, my daughter
: achieved more in the 5.5mos of FFW than she did in the previous
: 3yrs of traditional therapy! FFW has definitely been a very
: important piece to my daughter’s LD puzzle.: Blessings, momo Hi! My seven year old son is scheduled to begin Fast
