Hi Guys, our Pediatician has a feeling that my daughter has mild ADHD but didn’t make a referral at this point because she wouldn’t advise medication yet. I’m more into early intervention. How do I find out who is the best in our area? I know of one but she only takes referrals from Developmental Pediatricians and in our area children over 5 are not accepted by the Dev. Peds. probably because there is such a shortage.
I have another daughter with 2 rare conditions so I know how unproductive and even damaging it can be to be bounced around from doctor to doctor until we hit on the one that is really helpful.
I live north of Albany, NY if anyone has any recommendations.
