Hi again Thanks for the reply.I had a good giggle.I work as an alcohol councellor full time although I did start a group for parents of children with behavioral problems but there was only three of us and I did’nt get any support from the other two.I was hoping to spread our wings around other schools.In fact thanks for that I’m going to try again and find time to do this.I work the twelve step program with marley and a lot of the time it works.It’s gave him much self awareness.Although this last weekend was hell but I deal with each day as it comes.And hey it could be a lot worse I could have had Ball as a son. god that was a bit below the belt.I think a resentment is growing!!!!!
Hee-hee, you make me laugh to. I’m biting my lower lip and sending some “resentment-type” thoughts into the time-out chair in my brain. I’m also selective about what posts that I read, if you know what I mean, so that I can have some compassion for the mentally ill.
I getting the impression that Mums of ADHD kids are assumed to be a little wacky by anyone who is uneducated about ADHD so we have to work hard to win teachers over. Most will probably work with us if they get to know that we are descent.
You really believe in your child and that will go a long way I think! Megan’s Mum (I like that Mum word.)
