My son has been doing visual perception exercises from Jerome Rosner’s book. We do about 5-8 patterns a day. He had done about 200 patterns. He had about 140 left to be completely done with the program. Each pattern gets progressively more difficult. I would occasionally test him with the TVAS and he usually tests exactly where we are working. I hadn’t tested him in awhile but I noticed he was sailing through the shapes.
I just tested him and he did every single one correct. Even shapes that were no where near the level we were working on. I was floored. He tests out at 3rd grade level which is as high as it goes. I told him he was done with the program.
We were both so excited.
Also he has been going once a week for golf lessons. His dad just came back with him and told me he did great. He hit the ball 75 yards.
I have to think all of this has to do with IM.
Still waiting on the little brother thing though. Yeah, I know, but a mom can dream can’t she.
Re: Something amazing happened.
Linda,
Wow, what a great day!! Must be the week for amazing things!!!!
Forget the little brother thing, though. It comes with the territory. My two nonLD children had a world class fight yesterday when the younger refused to get ready and made the older late for school.

keep dreaming too. If it wasn’t for dreams our kids would be waiting for the day they can quit school.
