summer and science projects

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

If your middle school is like our middle school
the kids have to do a science project every
year.
They are due at the end February at our school which
is the worst possible time for our family. We coach
http://www.destinationimagination.org/
and February is our crunch month.

So this year we are getting smart.
We are setting up and running our science
experiment during the summer.
You can enter science fair in google.com
and find tons of good ideas.

When our frogs stop croaking about it and get around
to actually laying eggs in the pond we are
going to gather some up and put them in two tanks.
We will be trying to find out - do eggs hatch and tadpoles
grow quicker in room temperature or heated water.

There are all sorts of plant, animal, fun summer stuff
type experiments you can do.

So when Feb. rolls around, we’ll have all our data, ready to
plug into whatever requirements the teacher has for a presentation
template.
