test

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

What test would be used to test for ld in reading. My son was just tested and I do not know if the correct test were given. They used WISC-III, WRAMAL, WJ-II. Could we determine a ld with reading these test?
Thanks

Basically they have to establish there is a significant discrepancy between the child’s ability (IQ) and achievement (reading, writing, math, etc. level). The WJ is achievement, the WISC is IQ, and I’m not sure what the middle one is. But yes, those would be “enough” along with classroom performance to label LD in reading if the discrepancy is there…at least where I live!
