Thanks so much!

I would like to thank you for all your positive responses. I really had no idea that there were that many parents feeling the same way I do and going through the same things as me. So many of you have great ideas and I wish some of them would work for us but, unfortunetly they don’t .For one I didn’t clarifiy myself, the teacher that has give up on my daughter is the LD teacher and we can’t change teachers because she is the only LD teacher that teaches 4th and 5th grade at our school. The LD teacher goes to the regular classrooms for reading and language and then my daughter goes to her room for an hour for math class. This LD teacher is also leaving after this year so I or we won’t have to deal with her next year.
My daughter has so much to deal with I don’t know where to start. She is also language disabled besides being learning disabled. She has a comprehension problem and we haven’t gotten passed addition and subtraction in math class. Her verbal IQ is 76, her performance IQ is 64 and her full scale IQ is 68. They are doing testing on her right now so I should be getting the results of that the end of this month. I have thought of homeschooling her for a while to see if that helps her anybetter but I’m not sure I can do it.I have a 4 year old and 7 month old twins to take care of to. I don’t want it to sound as though my other children are more important but I have a full plate right now. My daighter also told me the reason she doesn’t want to go to school is because the kids are teasing her again. She is overweight to and that doesn’t help things out.
